Gay, are you and Dean going to make the Reunion in Oct?
As no passing of a classmate is easy, this one probably had to be the hardest. Rick and I were great friends starting in Junior High School, High School and ever since we graduated. Even though Rick stayed in SA and I joined the Air Force, every time I got to SA to visit parents, reunions, or work, we always got together over some good food and plenty of Coors light. So many stories could be told of trips to Padre, Mexico, drag racing in N. SA, and other HS activities, there is not enough space to even start. Never forget the Basic Training party he threw for me the Friday before reporting to Lackland on Sunday.....what a get together of HS friends. They are all good memories that will be cherished.
He was a friend, running mate, and a great person. RIP Rick and have a cold Coors Lite ready when I get there my friend.
