In Memory

Elizabeth Doyle (Williams)

Elizabeth Doyle (Williams)

I am sad to say that Elizabeth Doyle Williams passed away on Tuesday the 27th of September 2011, from Pancreatic Cancer.  Brian Hastings had just talked to her a couple of weeks ago and she seemed in good spirits.  I will add more information as I receive it.  She will be missed.

I had Elizabeth in several classes at Mac and she was a beautiful person inside and out then and Im sure she was to this day. Im sure she was a blessing to all she came in contact with as a nurse, a mother and a wife.  We will all miss her but Im sure she is at peace now with our Lord smiling down on us all. Condolances to all her family as they grieve the loss.

My condolances to Elizabeth's family as they endure the loss their loved one. She was a lovely soul and I fondly remember her beautiful smile and her warm heart. We will all miss her but we know that she is at peace in a better place with our Heavely Father. She will be held in out hearts forever.

So sad to hear about Liz's passing.  We became friends in elementary school and I will always remember her fondly.  Prayers to her friends and family.

Liz was my first friend in San Antonio.  I met her on my 10th birthday on my first day at Oak Grove Elementary.  We were good friends through elementary school and junior high.  I always loved her deep gravely voice and she had a great laugh. We went on different paths in high school but re-connected after graduation.  My sister, Beth, introduced Liz to her husband, Charlie Williams, in 1971 while both Beth and Liz were attending Mary Hardin-Baylor College.  She and Charlie would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversay next month.  She was a wonderful Christian and a blessing to have as a friend.  I treasure my many memories of time spent with her.  I talked to Charlie last night and told him we would be remembering Liz this weekend and our thoughts and prayers were with him and his family.
