mary mac is my longest, 'bestest' friend. we have been best friends since we were three years old...64 years. we met because our mothers were both in the antique restoration business. mary mac was a 4'11'' power house of love, laughter, candor, and quick wit. she was a friend of angels, a servant of christ, full of love, and a volunteer for a number of social services. mary mac and her paul were blessed by a loving family, old friends, and world travels. she loved everyone, from everywhere, and from all walks of life. she was always there for me, my daughter, all those she loved, and anyone in need. that beautiful smile, her hearty belly laugh, inner strength and unshakable faith will resonate and forever bless all in her orbit. i have lost a sister. please pray for her family, as her husband, paul, is still hospitalized fighting covid as well. love and light to all, phyllis trcka smith

When I think of Mary Mac I think of her big smile and laughter. She seemed always so pleasant, sweet, and happy. We got to know her husband Paul through banking at Frost Bank. They built a new house together about 9 years ago and were happy with it. - I am so sorry to learn of Mary's sudden Covid illness and quick demise. It's so sad this happened at Christmas time for the family and that Paul is sick too. - Life is a journey, for sure. My condolences to all that loved and knew her well. Rest In Peace Mary Mac Gittinger, and I pray God comforts Paul on this new path in life.
