Vicki Ruth Danford Crane Oct. 17, 1953 - Sept. 1, 2009 After a 3 year battle with melanoma, Vicki passed away in her home in Round Rock. Vicki was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Vicki attended and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin as registered nurse. As a student, Vicki was a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority. Vicki worked as a nurse in several areas ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics and finally as a nurse auditor for Texas Medicaid. She was the eldest of 3 children born to the late Masil Bryan and Mary Inez Danford and was the beloved wife of Dr. John Michael Crane for 30 years. Vicki will be forever remembered by her loving brother Fred, sister Janet, children Bryan and Katie, and countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her. Vicki loved traveling to tropical locations (specifically on cruises), Longhorn football games, and spending time with her pugs: Oreo, Forrest, and Sasha. Vicki touched the lives of many people with her smile and wonderful sense of humor, which kept us all laughing. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at The Remembrances Gardens at Riverbend, 4214 Capital of Texas Highway, Austin, TX 78746.
