We are saddened to learn of the passing of Peggy Stapper Davis.  Below is the information I found in her obituary.

Peggy Ann Stapper Davis

September 26, 1952 — September 19, 2023

Peggy Ann Stapper Davis, 70, of Cibolo, TX, passed away surrounded by family, September 19th, 2023. Peggy was born to Eldred and Marcella Stapper in San Antonio, TX on September 26th, 1952. She married Charles Davis on October 20, 1973. Peggy graduated from MacArthur High School in 1971 and then attended Dallas Fashion College.

Peggy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, sewing and quilting, but most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren. Her beautiful quilting creations still grace their home. Peggy was always there to help others. One of her favorite things was to play bunco with friends she has had since her children were very young. She was very proud of her children who are both educators in the SCUC school district, a district where both Peggy and Charles volunteered for over 35 years. Peggy’s true passion was the love for her family.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; brother Daryl Stapper (Judy); children: Missy Raines (Trey) and Chad Davis (Amanda) ; grandchildren: Evan Busch, Charlotte Davis and Cannon Davis and Dog: Millie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldred and Marcella Stapper, brother Eldred Jr. Stapper.

The family will be having a private ceremony at the Stapper Family Cemetery on Saturday, October 7, 2023. There will be a celebration of life at the Davis residence later that day.
