I did not know Judi well at Mac, but we crossed paths again in 1973 when we both worked in the same department at USAA in downtown San Antonio, where she had gone to work straight out of high school.  I came to like and truly respect her.  She was working full-time and trying to get through college part-time.  She was a great gal, liked by everyone:  fun and good natured, thoroughly grounded, unspoiled.  She met a boy in Tampa on a business trip and shortly thereafter got engaged.  She moved to Tampa (1974?) to get married.  I hope she lived happily ever after.

Contacted Judi's younger sister on FB, and she said Judi passed away at 35 from a brain tumor. 1988

I didn't know Judi well, either, but what a funny turn life sometimes takes.  Judy's brother, Mike, is our daughter-in-law's father, who built our new home.  Strange, huh?

didn't know judy well, but have vivid memories of her. she was the sort i have always admired. gentle, soft spoken, sweet, always smiling and very beautiful inside and out. my heart goes out to her closest. such an untimely death. my mother always said 'the good die young' because the man upstairs needs help there, as well as here.
